New Economy Forum On average, 400 people attend each session, representing both the financial and political worlds as well as the press
El Foro de la Nueva Economía (New Economy Forum) can be defined as a platform for dialogue and debate with a wide scope that goes beyond what we commonly know as "new economy". A typical event consists of a luncheon at the Hotel Ritz in Madrid that includes a Question & Answer session around questions previously formulated to the speaker in writing. On average, 400 people attend each session, representing both the financial and political worlds as well as the press. Some of our guest speakers have been: Romano Prodi, President of the European Commission; Loyola de Palacio, Vice President of the European Commission; Pedro Solbes, European Commissionaire for Economic & Monetary Affairs; Jean Chrétien, Prime Minister of Canada; José María Aznar, Prime Minister of Spain; Ricardo Lagos, President of the Republic of Chile.
In September 2002, collaboration began between Nueva Economía Fórum and the Wall Street Journal Europe. This collaboration represents both an important alliance for our organization as well as for the expansion of our activities to other countries.
